These are emotions we experience both psychologically and physiologically, even metaphorically (we’ve all heard of the man who died from a broken heart) Dead Lust pays respect to these felt emotions in the face of loss. The brain comprehends: the stomach acts as the vessel for ‘butterflies’: the heart pumps warm blood around the body to feed these vital organs, and pulsates to an emotive rhythm that often remains indescript.
Presented in small scale and wearing a ‘deathly black’ shade, the organs in Dead Lust speak about the bodily ordeal when faced with the reality of lost love and desire; laid to rest in an open casket for mourning.
